Inspired by the notion that every creative impulse holds significance, Humarts with founder Ivo Dimchev and Doza Gallery extend an invitation to you to partake in the exhibition "Assembly of Shame” and “Assembly of Anti-Art" and showcase your work within a 1-square-meter space.
Those who desire to join the exhibition should present pieces that resonate with the theme: shame within me, shame of me, shame within others, shame of others. Explore the beauty or tragedy inherent in shame and the equally compelling beauty or tragedy of its transcendence. Delve into its connections with other themes such as the personal, fear, or the overarching theme of freedom. What defines art, and what constitutes its antithesis?
Without any curator to conceptualize the exhibition, it will be boundless, and every form of expression is enthusiastically welcomed. The 50 participating artists will adjust and create their own show in relation to one another. Responding to thematic symbols and the other participants artworks, the artists will construct an artistic space in a way they like or letting it unfold on its own.
